Australian Design Furniture
Small Australian Projects

Small Australian Projects is a unique, design focused company that works with Australia’s finest architects to produce furniture that engages and celebrates national identity and environmental sensitivity.

This network of different architectural talent collaborating under one brand, together with our priorities towards the Australian environment, is what defines us as a company and we emphasise the emotional connection Australian’s have with their place. Our combination of priorities and sources allow us to produce furniture and fittings with the confidence of representing the importance of ‘design’ coexisting with Australian locale, climate and many different lifestyles.

Commencing our business with award winning architects Donovan Hill, Small Australian Projects sets a precedent of quality for both consumers and future designers. Admired by the design community, our inaugural designers combine commitment to fine design standards with efficient delivery of services to successfully provide innovative projects at all scales . . . including the ‘small’.

All of our products in the inaugural range are Australian designed and manufactured using environmentally sustainable processers and products. The manufacturing team consists of expert cabinet makers who have placed environmental sustainability as an assured priority. This alliance of expertise ensures that the furniture effectively matches contemporary needs and will meet the expectations of architects, designers and a design focused public.

Following Donovan Hill’s initial contribution come highly anticipated ranges from other renowned Australian architects such as m3 architecture, John Wardle Architects and Durbach Block. These ranges will be released in the next twelve months and will demonstrate the diversity within Australian architecture, and furniture design.
